Carpenter has won multiple Grammy awards, Emmy awards, and wrote the song “Passionate Kisses” which was featured in the film “The Prince of Tides.” She was born in Princeton, New Jersey, on October 15th, 1953.
“10,000 Miles” is a hauntingly beautiful song. I first heard it recently while watching the old movie “Fly Away Home,” and the music just stayed with me afterward. I felt compelled to buy it and am not sorry I did. I just love it and enjoy listening to it.
